Chandrayaan 3 linked companies gain ahead of landing attempt

Just hours before the nation prepares to land a spacecraft on the lunar south pole, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and other businesses that provided tools and supplies for India's lunar mission plunged on Wednesday. At 6:04 p.m. IST (12:34 GMT) on Wednesday, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will make an attempt to land on the lunar south pole in a mission that is essential to lunar research and the nation's status as a space power.
